Welcome back to another lactose free recipe. For this weeks recipe I wanted to do something a little bit spooky. Something related to my favourite holiday; Halloween.
After finding a really interesting looking black dip at the supermarket I knew I had to create something spooky for dipping. I decided on breadsticks that are shaped to look like a bones. The secret to these breadsticks is flavoured olive oil. Sometimes breadsticks can be a little bit on the plain side. The addition of flavoured olive oil really adds something special to these bread sticks. Pick a flavour that you find appealing. I choose a good quality rosemary and garlic olive oil.

Instructions
- In a small container add the warm water, yeast and 1tbs of sugar. Mix well. Place in a warm place for 10 minutes.
-
-
-
- Add in the yeast mixture and 1&1/2 cups of the flour.
-
- Add the remaining flour and mix on low until the dough comes together.
-
- Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl and cover with clingwrap. Move to a warm place. Leave the dough to rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 180 (Celsius) and line two trays with baking paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface. Tip the dough out and press down to flatten. Use a rolling pin and roll the dough out until 1cm thick.
-
-
- Bring the dough together and knead until it becomes a smooth ball again. Keep cutting out bones until the dough is used up.
- Make a small cut at the end of the bone to create more definition.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes depending on how crunchy you want the breadsticks to be. I prefer a softer breadstick so I baked mine for 12 minutes.

-
- Congratulations you have now made Halloween bone breadsticks.
- Serve, devour and enjoy.
