- Preheat your oven to 170c (350f). Line a tray with baking paper.

- Beat the margarine and brown sugar in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl beat mix together the vanilla essence, milk and egg.

- Fill up a tray full of cookies. Make sure to leave a gap in between them as they will rise and spread a little bit.
- Bake for 8 to 15 minutes until golden brown. The baking time will depend on the size of your cookies.
